Although the guide was created to address common issues seen in newer iPhones (such as the 17 and newer generations), all techniques and principles also work on older models (13, 14, and earlier). Photography fundamentals and lighting techniques are universal, and iOS evolves gradually. If a specific feature isn’t available on your device, simply skip it and continue.
Do I need the exact same lights shown in the guide?
No. My philosophy is simple: work with the equipment you already have and use its full potential before upgrading. In the e-book, I explain two main lighting styles. Once you learn how to recognize them, you’ll understand how to apply the same principles using your own gear. Every lighting setup is clearly explained step by step.
